Indiana Library Education Units are now available!`

Are you a librarian or library staff member in Indiana? Do you own our products and attend Evanced Solutions webinars? Then you're going to be very happy!

Evanced Solutions has teamed up with the Indiana State Library to offer Library Education Units (LEU) for our webinars. Each of our one hour webinars now counts for 1 Technology LEU.

To ensure that you receive the credit for your attendance please:
  • make sure you click "yes" on the registration form when we ask you "Is this for State of Indiana LEU Credit?"
  • let the event trainer know that you are a staff member at an Indiana Library when you log in for the webinar
  • take the course and then kick back* - we'll send you a certificate that you can then pass on to the Indiana State Library ask proof of attendance

*If your boss catches you "kicking back" don't blame us. We'll deny we ever said anything - we don't care if it is in writing!

We look forward to seeing you at a webinar soon!

Wrapping Up Summer Reading

Ah, it's that time of year! You can sense that Fall is just around the corner, for some of you school has already begun, and you're still cleaning up bits of crumbs and glitter from the Summer Reading program wrap up party.

But what about your Summer Reader site? Our trainer, Larry Woodhouse, has the course for you. Join Larry in a webinar as he walks you through the necessary steps to extract your Summer Reader data and clean things up for a fresh start next year.

There's still room in the September sessions, so visit our calendar and look for Summer Reader: Wrap Up.

New Report Option Available in Summer Reader

Doug the official master and keep of all things Summer Reader* here at Evanced has built a new report option into Summer Reader version 7.157.

The new report is called “Random Drawings Report” and it creates a report to show who is eligible for a random drawing prize. This allows staff to see who has not received a random drawing prize is an easy way to get that information rather than looking thru each drawing in the RD history or looking for them in program management.

I think that's helpful, especially since many of you are now wrapping up Summer Reading and trying to figure out the last of the prizes!

If you want this report and have not gotten the newest upgrade, please contact support at support@evancedsolutions.com

*I personally think that should go on his business cards, but apparently everyone at the office likes "Developer" better. My comedic genius is soooo underappreciated!
